Arts Manager The overall purpose of this role is to work with the UK and Sri Lanka Arts sectors to develop collaborative programmes and partnerships which deepen bilateral cultural understanding through the arts, and support the prosperity of the arts and cultural sectors in Sri Lanka and the UK. The Arts Manager will support Head of Arts Kenya and East Africa, Country Director Uganda, and the wider British Council team, to deliver an engaging Ugandan arts programme that works within British Council’s East Africa Arts programme and builds knowledge and understanding between the UK and Uganda. Main Accountabilities Project Management Working within the West Africa Arts cluster and the wider British Council team to deliver programmes, audiences and partnerships which contribute to the British Council’s SSA Arts programme. The projects will be delivered through close liaison with Programme Manager Arts – Ghana and West Africa, the Arts team in Nigeria, the West Africa cluster and supported by one Intern and one Project Officer. You should have a minimum five-year solid working experience in project/programme delivery and management in arts, culture, PR or marketing.
